The legendary ‘C2’ Corvette, first of the Stingrays. From the 1963 split window coupe and convertible with a choice of 327 V8s starting from 250hp all the way up to 375 ponies for the potent ‘fuelie’. From 1965 Chevy dropped fuel injection and offered a 396 big block, upped to 427 cubes for ‘66/67. If you wanted more you could pay a cool two grand for the legendary L-88 aluminium 427 race motor with 580hp on tap when headers were hooked up.
